African Immigrant Services (AIS)

AIS works to inspire civic engagement, to build community assets, and to overcome systemic and cultural barriers. Established by African immigrants to build social capital and community power, AIS also helps to creatively increase access to economic opportunities for historically disadvantaged people and communities of color.

AIS is the reigning 2013 & 2014 winner of the prestigious Minnesota's African Non-Profit of the Year 2013 Award annually hosted by Mshale Newspaper & Books for Africa.
