Adopt Shelter Animal Pets (ASAP)

Adopt Shelter Animal Pets (ASAP) West Richland is a 501c3 all-volunteer organization, and was formed by a small group of people who wanted to make a positive change in the lives of lost and abandoned animals in our community. ASAP volunteers are dedicated to improving the lives of homeless pets in West Richland by:

  • finding happy forever homes for the stray and abandoned animals through placement in foster or adoptive homes.

  • offering assistance and resources with low cost spay/neuter services
    and veterinary care.

  • providing post adoptive support to families.

  • providing family friendly adoption and fund raising events.

  • promoting humane education and community involvement.

  • raising funds for improved shelter conditions.

Currently the West Richland Shelter resides on private property, inaccesible to the public, and without climate control. Animals placed there had limited chances of being reunited with their owners or placed into new forever homes prior to ASAP being established. Now volunteers work 24/7 to help rescue, reunite, and  restore these animals to the life they deserve.
