A.C.T. Women's Self-Defense

Studies show that women who participate in a women’s self-defense class are less likely to be attacked and more likely to get away if they are.

The A.C.T. women’s self-defense program is based on how women are most commonly attacked (men are attacked differently). The program draws from psychology and an array of martial arts disciplines to provide:

  • Strategies to prevent attacks
  • Tactics for de-escalating confrontations
  • Physical self-defense techniques

Classes are taught by a female instructor with a male co-instructor so that women can practice against realistic size and strength.
