The Animal Care and Control Team of Philadelphia (ACCT Philly) is an open admission, 501(c)3 animal shelter contracted by the City to perform animal control services.  Serving 23,000 animals every year from cats and dogs to goats and guinea pigs, the shelter saw a record high lifesaving rate of 80% in 2016.  ACCT Philly is open every day for adoption, foster/rescue, TNR, and surrender services.
