Born and raised in Newtown, Dr. Aaron Coopersmith (Dr. “A”) has returned to join his father, Dr. Richard Coopersmith as part of the team at Newtown Chiropractic Health Center.
Dr. “A” received his undergraduate degree in Biology from
Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. While an undergraduate
Dr. “A” achieved a status as a “Key Holder” for the environmentally conscious club known as NUHOC. As and undergraduate and a proactive environmentalist, Dr. “A” joined the group SEA, “Students for Environmental Action” in an effort to bring “Biodiesel” to University vans and trucks
Dr. “A” received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls, New York. He holds an Advanced Certificate in Whole Food Nutrition. During his professional training, Dr. “A” treated many college and high school athletes at such events as the New Balance Collegiate Invitational and High School Nationals Track and Field events at the Armory in NYC.
As an avid hiker and cyclist, Dr. “A”” understands the importance of fitness. Combining his education as a Chiropractic Physician with his passion for assisting patients achieve optimal health and well-being, patient’s visits often include nutritional guidance, lifestyle counseling and exercise instruction.
Certified in a highly specific postgraduate technique called Active Release Technique, (ART), Dr. “A” employs this well focused soft tissue approach to specifically address injuries of the muscles, ligaments, tendons, joints and nerves.
