The Kids' Guide to Canada project is a national student voice project for all elementary classes in Canadian, First Nation, Métis, and Inuit communities. Students from JK to Grade 8 are invited to explore, honour, and introduce the land and people of their local community in their own language, to the children of Canada, and around the world. In doing so, they'll be creating the very first multilingual (English, French, and Indigenous) interactive guide to Canada truly produced BY kids and produced FOR kids.
Teachers require an official school system email address to register for the project and obtain a free account in the project, and in the Digital Human Library. For purposes of online safety and security, no student registrations or accounts are involved in this project.
