A Blade of Grass

A Blade of Grass nurtures socially engaged art through our acclaimed Fellowship program, which is uniquely designed to support and build audience for artists who are working directly with communities at an ambitious scale to enact social change.

The ABOG Fellowship For Socially Engaged Art pairs direct support to artists’ projects with compelling journalism, documentary films, and field research. We illuminate Fellowship projects, delve deeply into the ideas behind them, and discover their unique impact. To follow our artists and the inspiring projects they are leading, visit our website or connect with us on social media. You’ll find opportunities to read, visit, attend public programs, and watch our FIELDWORKS series of documentary films.
