Ujima Life Services:

Cultivating Care. Rooting in Community.

Since 2016, Ujima Life Services has been a sanctuary for holistic mental health, dedicated to culturally grounded care and the power of collective healing. We support individuals, families, and communities in the vital work of reconnecting mind, body, and spirit.

Our in-person experiences, such as the Planting Presence series, bring wellness to life through the therapeutic power of nature. These gatherings blend modern mental health strategies with hands-on horticultural activities, inviting you to slow down, get your hands in the soil, and find stillness in a chaotic world. At Ujima, we believe healing is a shared journey—together, we create intentional spaces where mindfulness and culture meet to help us all thrive.

These offerings are facilitated community circles and do not constitute psychotherapy or clinical mental health treatment.

No Therapist-Client Relationship: Participation does not establish a clinical relationship and is not billable to insurance.

Facilitator Role: While facilitators may be licensed clinicians, they serve here in a supportive facilitator capacity, not as medical providers.
