The Speakers Storytelling Club is an initiative that supports locals to practice public speaking by telling stories of the city in a free walking tour. The free walking tour concept is a global initiative that works the same way everywhere you go: You join a walking tour with a local guide or someone that has lived in the city long enough and usually, they do this on the side. They know a prearranged route with stops in small alleyways, tasting fortune cookies, and walking in parks. Through this concept, we practice storytelling and public speaking in front of a crowd of people.

We run free walking tours in San Francisco, New York City, and San Diego.

We also just started bike tours across the Golden Gate Bridge!

The Free SF Tour starts at Union Square, go through Maiden Lane, makes a left on Grant towards Chinatown and the Fortune Cookie Factory, and then down to the Financial District all the way to the Ferry Building. It's 1.5 miles walk on moderate terrain. The whole tour lasts 2.5h.

NYC Free Tour starts at the staircase of the National Museum of the American Indian. Lasts for 2h and will give you a great introduction to the City! This will be a local point of view and through history, architectural styles, and social movements we will try to tell you the story of how New York City became the melting pot of the world.

The San Diego Free Tour starts at the Gaslamp Quarter Arch at 10 AM and 2 PM. We explore the historical Gaslamp Quarter as well as a portion of San Diego’s waterfront. On the tour we will see the main streets of the heart of San Diego, the small parks in between, walk the waterfront and hear stories about the rich history of the area. Through storytelling and exploration we will paint a picture of the old days in the rich history of the neighborhood.

Our courses are made by keeping in mind people with an accent and English, not a first language. Our mission is to educate people to express themselves better in front of others. We will teach you how to talk flawlessly, enrich your vocabulary, memorize better, and ultimately put storytelling into practice.
