Tampa Bay Academy of Hope

Tampa Bay Academy of Hope (TBAH) is a community‑based nonprofit organization founded in 1996 with a mission to keep youth in school, out of the prison pipeline, and on a path toward productive and successful adulthood. The organization provides comprehensive mentoring, tutoring, life skills development, educational support, and workforce preparation to youth and young adults across the Tampa Bay region.

The FAME (Fostering Aspiration: Mentor Engagement) program at Tampa Bay Academy of Hope is dedicated to empowering youth ages 10 to 17 in Hillsborough, Polk, and Pasco Counties through meaningful mentorship. Our mission is to inspire and guide young people in their journey toward personal and academic success by fostering positive relationships with caring mentors. We are committed to promoting self-confidence, resilience, and a sense of purpose in our youth, helping them realize their full potential and become active, engaged members of their communities.
