Let's Be Whole
Let’s Be Whole is a California-based public health organization and holistic wellness collective dedicated to healing marginalized communities through "food as medicine," mental health support, and the arts.
Founded by Queen Mother Nina Womack, a Los Angeles native, coronated Development Queen in Ghana, and High Chief in Nigeria, the organization serves as a bridge between ancestral wisdom and modern wellness. As a Medi-Cal Certified Peer Support Specialist and a resilient survivor of complex trauma, Queen Nina leads Let’s Be Whole with the deep "lived experience" necessary to address racial trauma and generational pain.
Our mission is to provide safe, inclusive spaces for restorative justice and community healing. Through initiatives like the Alafia Healing Festival and our African Heritage Crop Learning Center, we empower individuals to reclaim their health, heritage, and wholeness.
"Healing is a collective journey. When we nourish the body and soothe the spirit, we transform the community."
