Marc C. Hardy, LCMHCS

Marc dances and teaches Kizomba and Semba, partner dances from Angola, in which couples and individuals experience being attuned with oneself and their partner. He completed his Kizomba/Semba teacher training with legendary Mestre Petchú (Pedro Vieira Dias Tomas), Carlos Camba and Anna in Lisbon, Portugal and Luanda, Angola.

Marc provides counseling and therapy with individuals, children, adolescents, couples and families as they address life’s many milestones such as marriage, divorce and parenting and the challenging moods, thoughts, emotions and conflicts that often accompany these milestones. Marc believes that people are also sometimes searching for a purpose in life, and that there are numerous, valid ways that counselors can help them strive for that purpose.

Marc is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and Supervisor. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Master’s degree in Counselor Education in 1992 both from North Carolina State University. He holds a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and Supervisor (LCMHCS) license #S4423, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license #4423, National Certified Counselor (NCC) Certificate #76069, and School Counselor license. He has been working with children (ages 3-12), adolescents (ages 13-20), their families (adults) and couples for over 30 years in numerous settings.
