Sales Tax Exemptions in Norfolk, Virginia
When you set up your event, you’ll have to answer a couple brief questions in Tax Settings. Tax won’t be charged to you or the attendee if you’re tax exempt under one of the Norfolk, VA exemptions listed below. No tax shall be imposed or levied on admissions charged for attendance at public and private elementary, middle, and secondary school sponsored-events, including events sponsored by school-recognized student organizations under Norfolk City Code §24-289(c).
