2022 "Down the River Cleanup" - September 11, 2022

We Love Clean Rivers , Inc. is a 501©3 non‐profit organization witha mission is to facilitate community based river stewardship projects.Our longstanding focus has been the Clackamas River and Willamette Falls area in Oregon, and in 2023 we are expanding to advocacy and work on other rivers in the region and beyond20 year test case: Since 2003, over 40 tons of garbage — well over the approximate weight of one gray whale — has been removed from the Clackamas River by more than 4,500 volunteers. We Love Clean Rivers is dedicated to cleaning high use rivers by mobilizing the river recreation and conservation community. We coordinate with kayakers, rafters, anglers, SCUBA divers and tubers to clean up waterways.2022 Volunteer events include theDown the River Cleanupon the Clackamas.
