About Inside Out:
Inside Out is a social enterprise providing young prison leavers with skills to help them access employment opportunities. The not-for-profit organisation is run by broadcaster and journalist Greg Mckenzie alongside young entrepreneur & charity owner Zack Fortag. Inside Out’s mission is to create realistic job prospects for young people leaving the justice system by creating opportunities in business through fashion and design.
Its debut project will see the launch of the UK’s first clothing brand created by young ex-offenders taking part in the programme. Each are brand ambassadors, with their own stories of hope and just wanting a second chance. All proceeds from sales go back into sustaining the social enterprise, which will enable Inside Out to continue each year.
The first project is in partnership with LinkedIn, which is helping the young offenders to build their profiles, connections and skills.
