Zonta Women of Achievement Luncheon - May 16, 2017
Tue, May 16, 2017, 9:30 AM – 2:00 PM CDT
The Women of Achievement "Yellow Rose Luncheon" is Zonta's largest fundraiser of the year.
The luncheon recognizes and honors local women for their accomplishments and contributions to our community through the presentation of two "Women of Achievement" awards. Zonta also presents the "Mrs. William H. Weldon Lifetime Achievement Award" to a woman who has achieved success in the community over a lifetime and recognizes Second Chance Scholarship recipients.
Our special guest and Celebration Award winner is Laura Farris Schuffman. Born and raised in Jefferson City, Laura has called both New York City and Los Angeles home. Currently living in Los Angeles, this dynamic wife and mother of two small children is a TV network stylist for Freeform (formerly ABC family) and a contributing editor for Los Angeles Weddings Magazine and Orange Coast Weddings Magazine. Her clients include Mischa
Barton, Carolyn Murphy, Eminem, and Candace Cameron Bure. Please join us in celebrating the courageous path that led Laura to her successful career as a fashion stylist in LA.
Lorraine Mercurio, owner of Saffee’s, will be honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award for her courageous efforts as a business woman during a time when most women were stay-at-home moms. In addition, 15 local women will be honored for their achievements, and two will be chosen as Zonta "Women of Achievement". Be a part of honoring these women!
