Description

  • Do you struggle at times to keep your employees motivated and energized?

  • Are you trying to create a sustainable business that attracts and retains A players who are committed to growing with you?

  • Do you have the right systems in place to drive great customer service and your top-line?

If you answer YES! to any of the three questions above, then you must come and meet Ari Weinzweig.

In 1982, Ari Weinzweig (recently named one of the "World's top 10 CEO's"by Inc Magazine) and his partner Paul Saginaw opened a small, 25-seat delicatessen. Today the Zingerman's Community of Businesses includes 10 different businesses (all in the Ann Arbor, Michigan area) employing over 700 people and with annual sales revenue of over $60 million.

Fixing the Energy Crisis in the American Workforce

Zingerman's 12 Natural Laws of Business

In this interactive and hands-on workshop, you will learn:

  • What Great Leadership looks like and how to use Open-Book Management to create a work environment where employees think like owners.

  • How a "Weekly Huddle" can boost your business and promote accountability.

  • The secret to creating a compelling reason for your customers to buy and for your employees to "follow".

Ari will share the approach to business that has led to Zingerman’s phenomenal success, including the 12 Natural Laws of business as introduced in his book, Zingerman's Guide to Good Leading: Part 1, A Lapsed Anarchist's Approach to Building a Great Business.

And, he will explain why operating in violation of these laws has created an energy crisis in the American workplace and how you can counteract that trend and learn to deliver great customer service, inspire your employees and improve your bottom-line.

Zingerman’s approach is applicable whether you're running a law office, a library, a restaurant, a record label, a software firm, or an organic farm, with behind-the-scenes "secrets" that are invaluable in building a special, sustainable business of any kind.

RSVP ASAP as this event is expected to sell out quickly!

Early bird discount ends May 28th - so ACT now!

About Ari Weinzweig
Co-founder, Zingerman's Community of Businesses

Today, Zingerman’s Delicatessen is a nationally renowned food icon and the Zingerman’s Community of Businesses has grown to 10 businesses with over 750 employees and over $55 million in annual revenue. Aside from the Delicatessen, these businesses include Zingerman’s Bakehouse, Coffee Company, Creamery, Roadhouse, Mail Order, ZingTrain, Candy Manufactory, Cornman Farms and a Korean restaurant that is scheduled to open in 2016. No two businesses in the Zingerman’s Community of Businesses are alike but they all share the same Vision and Guiding Principles and deliver “The Zingerman’s Experience” with passion and commitment.

Besides being the Co-Founding Partner and being actively engaged in some aspect of the day-to-day operations and governance of nearly every business in the Zingerman’s Community, Ari Weinzweig is also a prolific writer. His most recent publications are the first 4 of his 6 book series Zingerman’s Guide to Good Leading Series: A Lapsed Anarchist’s Approach to Building a Great Business (Part 1), Being a Better Leader (Part 2), Managing Ourselves (Part 3) and the newly-released Part 4, The Power of Beliefs in Business.

Over the decades, the Zingerman’s founding partners have consistently been the recipients of public recognition from a variety of diverse organizations. In April 1995, Ari and Paul were awarded the Jewish Federation of Washtenaw County’s first Humanitarian Award. In 2006, Ari was recognized as one of the “Who’s Who of Food & Beverage in America” by the James Beard Foundation. In 2007, Ari and Paul were presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award from Bon Appetit magazine for their work in the food industry. Ari was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award by the American Cheese Society in 2014. Ari’s book, Building a Great Business was on Inc. magazine’s list of Best Books for Business Leaders. And in 2017, Ari was named one of the World's Top 10 CEOs by Inc. Magazine.
