Description

Zika has emerged incredibly quickly, raising numerous questions about the disease:

What is the Zika virus? Where did it come from? How long have we known about it? How should we prepare for the next emerging disease?

These and other questions will be discussed to separate fact from fiction and provide a clear understanding of what we do, and what we do not yet know about the Zika virus today.

The recommended audience for this FREE event is County Officials, Emergency Management Personnel, Hospital and Healthcare Coalitions, Women's Health Providers, Cooperative Extensions, Volunteer Groups and Vector Control Organizations.

Registration begins at 9:30 a.m.. Lunch will be provided. Seminar ends at 2:30 p.m.
