Zero Waste Workshop: Use it Then Lose Re-Use It
Are you throwing out 'waste' materials that could be valuable to another business?
Are you getting the most value from everything you are paying to bring in to your business?
Did you know that sending recyclable or compostable materials for disposal not only increases our regional solid waste management challenges but also increases our production of greenhouse gases?
Did you know that some businesses are already essentially zero waste?!
Light House, Strathcona Business Improvement Association, One Earth, and Ecotrust Canada are pleased to invite you to join us for an informative workshop designed to help your business reduce your waste management costs and get on the path to Zero Waste. You will learn about local success stories as well as strategies for dealing with common barriers, and receive a Zero Waste Resource Kit, with resources such as checklists and supplier information, so you can return to work and get started on your zero waste path.
Speaker: Tracy Casavant, Executive Director, Light House
