About Zenato Winery

Founded in 1960 by Sergio and Carla Zenato, the Zenato winery was originally based on the production of quality wines from an indigenous varietal, Trebbiano di Lugana. Situated in the Italian region of Veneto on the distinguished Lake Guarda, the Zenato Winery has a native grape variety planted on the southern banks of the lake, hidden in its origins.

Today, Zenato has 95 hectares of vineyards between their Zenato di Santa Cristina estate in San Benedetto di Lugana, which provides the ideal conditions for growing Trebbiano di Lugana, and their Costalunga estate in Valpolicella, home to their celebrated Amarone Zenato and the renowned grape varieties Corvina, Rondinella, and Oseleta. Zenato Winery has been passed down to Sergio and Carla's children and they continue the family tradition that has championed local grape varieties, history and culture for over 60 years.
