ABOUT THE PLAY
It has been said, "it is not history that repeats, just historians repeating each other". Taking the facts of the actual events, playwright, screenwriter, actor, acting teacher, historian and Jimmy Carter scholar, James Villemaire, has taken a fearless look into the stories we only thought we knew. From a poor peasant girl, named Joan of Arc, leading an army into battle, to the the event that catapulted George Washington in to action. We will join Brutus at a wild orgy, where he confronts Caesar, the day before the Ides of March, and Josephine as she seduces Napoleon. We will get a behind scenes look at Cleopatra confiding her doubts about Marc Anthony, to Stalin in his inner sanctum, where he wrestles with his waning public image. We will get a glimpse into what really lead to Genghis Khan's demise, and Hitler's fateful decision in the last hours in his bunker. And finally, we bare witness to Barack Obama's dark night of the soul, as he grapples with his failing powers as man and as a president.. James Villemaire and the talented company of the Zen of Acting, will take you on an unflinching journey back in time to the greatest moments that shaped world events. History has never been so entertaining... or hilarious.
