About this event
ZCO / Dance Project is a bold, soulful, and theatrical celebration of life beyond limits, featuring a dynamic ensemble of dancers and choreography by the Founder/Artistic Director Zazel-Chavah O’Garra and other guest choreographers.
Since its inception, ZCO/DANCEPROJECT has shattered the preconceived notion of what it means to be disabled with transcendent performances that are at once witty, soulful, intelligent, intriguing and nothing short of groundbreaking.
The CUNY Dance Initiative (CDI) receives major support from the Howard Gilman Foundation and Mertz Gilmore Foundation. Additional support is provided by the SHS Foundation, Jerome Robbins Foundation, the Harkness Foundation for Dance, the National Endowment for the Arts, and public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council. CDI is part of Dance/NYC’s New York City Dance Rehearsal Space Subsidy Program, made possible by The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.
This project is also supported, in part, by a grant from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs and the National Endowment for the Arts.
