Zan Fiskum is looking ahead with excitement to the debut of her second record, “Forbidden Art” to be released in February 2023.

Showcasing Zan’s range this project beautifully exposes her maturity not only as a songwriter and vocalist but also as an individual as she conveys the stories of her life with resilience and grit. While staying true to her folk/pop songwriting she incorporates sounds of soul, dream pop, world percussion and indie rock into her music.

This project features incredible collaborations with artists like award-winning composer/violinist Andrew Joslyn (Seattle Symphony, Head And The Heart, Kesha), Dan Walker - keyboards (Heart), Jacob Miller, and Alec Shaw and is sure to captivate both fans and artists for years to come.

Zan’s debut album “Sleeping Problems'', received over 2.8 million streams on Spotify alone bringing together her love for atmospheric and orchestral arrangements, alongside indie pop production and songwriting.

The success of this album opened the doors for Zan to share the stage with Dave Mathews, Portugal The Man and Shaina Shepherd, for the SMASH benefit concert at The Moore Theater, as well as receive the Black Fret 2022 artist grant alongside Paris Alexa, True Loves and Sassy Black. Among these wonderful accomplishments she has also gone on to perform at Chateau Ste. Michelle as a featured artist with John legend on his Bigger Love tour (Sept 2021).

Released in the midst of a global pandemic, the album made outstanding strides forward. Performing her single, “You Are The Light '' for over 1.2 million people on New Years at The Needle (KING 5 News) caught the attention of hall of fame DJ Marco Collins who aired it on his show at KEXP.

In July of 2021 Zan and her band took the stage for their first time at The Triple Door, maxing out ticket sales and leaving many of her audience members in tears. She has been featured at The Sasquatch Festival, The Moore Theater, The Paramount, The Tractor, The Crocodile, The Orcas Center, The San Juan Community Theater, Whidbey Island Cultural Center for the Arts, The Spanish Ballroom (McMenamins Tacoma), The Vashon Center for the Arts, The Volunteer Park Amphitheater, The Kirkland Performance Center, and more…

Zan was raised in the small town of Maple Valley, WA where she spent most of her time either running barefoot in the forest or volunteering with her family at a local dinner theater, both of which inspired her to make the music she is today. Her angelic voice soars over her soulful and ethereal storytelling. Reminiscent of artists Lana Del Ray and Brandi Carlile, she blends the lines between indie/pop and americana/folk as she writes about childhood trauma, the intricacies of family dynamics, connection to the natural world as well as a fan-favorite: love.

GIRL BLUE

If you like Alanis Morissette, Brandi Carlisle and crying in public, you’re going to love Girl Blue. Writing deeply emotional songs with strong singable hooks, singer/songwriter Arielle O’Keefe is absolutely one to watch. She’s been featured on top Spotify playlists (New Music Friday) and charts (#2 on US Viral Charts), in national commercials, and on top blogs like the Huffington Post. It’s been said “she…has the kind of spark that makes stars” (The Alt), and most especially as a live performer she has an authenticity that regularly moves audience members to tears. She has been the recipient of 7 Thomas Edison Music Awards, twice awarded both Songwriter of the Year and Solo Artist of the year. She is currently based outside of Saratoga Springs, NY, where she records her own music and runs a successful Patreon community.

“…tremendous songwriting talent, with the perfect voice to match. It is genuinely hard to walk away from her while she performs; you need only hear about 30 seconds of her to know she’s likely destined for widespread national recognition.”
