Being put in front of the camera can be an awkward and uncomfortable experience. We all have those parts of our body we'd rather hide, or we might feel we're the most unphotogenic person EVER. But if you work in the creative field, you will end up being asked for a photo of yourself.
Rather than have you dread that moment in front of the camera, we want you to shine like the confident boss babe you are! The make-or-break difference between looking great and looking not-so-great in a photo isn't about make-up or plastic surgery, it's all about how you strike a pose!
In this workshop, we'll teach you:
how to pose for your body-type and message
how to communicate with your photographer to get the most out of your sessions, even if your photographer is just your best friend with a smartphone!
the importance of a great headshot as a means of self-promotion
tricks on how to get comfortable in front of the camera and know you're rocking it with every single snap!
Plus, all of our participants will come away with a professional headshot, taken by portrait photographer and fellow YYC Girl Gang founder Jillian Logee (@logeephoto).
