Educating and Empowering Young Women (Ages 11 - 18) to Live Safe, Healthy, and Productive Lives!

There will be a Parent Resource Fair, Parent Workshops, and a space designated for Spa Treatment!  Information & Self-Care in ONE SPOT!

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

No ID is required.  This conference is for 11-18 year old females.

What are my parking options?

Parking is free.   

What can/can't I bring to the event?

Bring a smile and expect to learn and have fun!

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

No.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

We encourage you to bring your ticket, but we will have a copy of it at the Registration/Check-In table.

Photo Release:  Please know that this is a public event.  By registering for the Young Women's Empowerment Conference, you are stating that both you and your parents/guardians are providing permission for any pictures taken to be used for public and/or social media.

Individual Waiver, Release of Liability and Consent to Medical Attention for Attendee:   By registering for this event, you are stating that you are 18 years old.  Registration for this conference for anyone under the age of 18 needs to be completed by a legal parent or guardian.  By proceeding with and completing this registration for youth under the age of 18, Legal Parents & Guardians are agreeing to our Waiver and Release and Consent to Medical Treatment terms and policies provided below.    

               Waiver and Release: I release and discharge the Young Women’s Empowerment Conference (from this point forward referred to as YWEC), its parent organizations, its sponsors, committee members, agents, representatives, participating vendors/exhibitors or anyone or business entity affiliated or participating in the YWEC event, successor or assigns from all claims for any liability, injury, loss, or damage in any way connected with my participation in the YWEC event whether or not caused in whole or part by the negligence or any liability generating act of any kind or description by the YWEC event. I intend this Assumption, Waiver, Release, and Consent shall apply and limit my relatives, personal representatives, heirs, beneficiaries, next of kin, or assigns who might pursue any legal action or claim for such liability, injury, loss or damage.

               Consent to Medical Treatment:  I agree and consent that the Young Women's Empowerment Conference may select, but has no obligation, responsibility or duty, to provide me appropriately trained or qualified medical care provider or health care person, emergency assistance, transportation, or medical services.  This consent does not impose a duty or obligagtion of any type on the Young Women's Empowerment Conference or Release(s) to provide such assistance, transportation or services. 

               Applicable Law:  This Assumption, Waiver, Release, and Consent shall be controlled and interpreted consistent with laws of the State of Indiana without consideration of the conflicts of laws of other jurisdictions.

Mission Statement:  The Young Women's Empowerment Conference and the Male Mentoring Conference is an opportunity for young women and young men in the Indianapolis community to network, receive positive information, and have fun.
