Soprano Yulia Petrachuk and duet Musalliance perform vocal and instrumental music from Baroque to Flamenco. Unique opportunity to experience original music arrangements for soprano, guitar and Russian mandolin.

The program includes masterworks by Heitor Villa-Lobos, Mikhail Glinka, Alexander Borodin, Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov, Alexander Spiro, Dmitri Shostakovich, Frideric Handel, Giovanni Pergolesi, Niccolo Paganini, Augustin Lara, Leo Delibes, Franz Schubert and Johann Bach.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS:

Yulia Petrachuk (Soprano) - A soloist of Salzburg Mozarteum in Austria, Smetana Hall in Prague, Carnegie Hall in NYC, Civitanova Theater in Italy, Musikverein in Vienna, Bolshoi Hall in Moscow, Theater Bern in Switzerland and many other venues. Her future performances include Soprano Solo in Christmas Oratorio by Sain Saens with Easton Choral Arts Society in Easton MD, Elekta's role in Strauss' opera at the Great Hall of Mozarteum in Saltzburg, and various operatic and concert series performances in USA, Italy, France, Russia, Austria and Germany. Peter Omelchenko (Domra) – Peter, a graduate of the Gnessin Academy of Music in Russia, has performed with the Osipov Balalaika Orchestra, and plays and soloes with the Washington Balalaika Society Orchestra. His musical talents also include singing, arranging, composing, and teaching.

Anna Kusner (Guitar) – Anna graduated from the State Gnessin Music College in Moscow. In a duo with a Bolshoi Theater singer, she performed Russian art songs for several years at the Moscow Philharmonic Society. After graduating from the Academy of Music in Jerusalem in 1995, Anna performed with chamber orchestras and ensembles on Israeli TV, radio, and at music festivals. She has taught classical guitar widely, and has somehow found time to record 16 CDs
