YOUtopia is an official Burning Man Regional Event, that is modeled on the Ten Principles sponsored by the San Diego Collaborative Arts Project (“SDCAP”).

IMPORTANT TICKET INFORMATION

  • PRINT YOUR TICKET & BRING THE SIGNED WAIVER to be admitted at the gate.

  • BRING A VALID ID with DATE OF BIRTH (license, passport or state or military ID, etc.). If you do not have a valid ID, we suggest getting one before the event.

  • MINORS - under 18 years of age on Oct. 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and registered at gate for a picture and matching wristband.

  • All people and vehicles entering YOUtopia are subject to search. Please do not bring any glass, mirrors, weapons, or furry non-humanoid friends.

  • YOUtopia is a LEAVE NO TRACE event, so plan to pack out what you pack in.

  • All ticket sales are final and there are no refunds. You may sell your ticket at face value. Make sure you change the name and email address on the ticket. All tickets must be in the name of the participant using that ticket.

VIEW, PRINT, or CHANGE YOUR ORDER

  1. Log in to your Eventbrite account (www.eventbrite.com/login) with the email address and password you used at the time you registered. No worries if you forgot your password - just select "Forgot your password."

  2. Click on your “Profile" at the TOP RIGHT of the screen, and use the dropdown menu to select "tickets" to view, print of change the ticket information. Select "Upcoming Events" and then your YOUtopia order.

  3. To change the name on the ticket (transfer to another person's name) select "EDIT" on the RIGHT side. Change the name and email of the new participant on the ticket being edited and don't forget to "Save” the changes at the BOTTOM of the page! SCROLL ALL THE WAY TO THE BOTTOM TO SAVE!

ALL tickets MUST be in the name of the person holding that ticket! YES, we check against a valid ID that has your picture on it. If the ticket information is not changed prior to the event, it makes it a big hassle at the gate. Don't be that guy - change the name on the ticket.

NOTE: There are few common problem with editing the ticket information - for one - it is a ticket EDIT, not a transfer. Transfers cost a fee; an edit does not.

“So why is it not working?” you ask:

1) Did you change the name on the ticket, but not the email of the new participant?

2) Did you forgot to save at the bottom of the page?

3) Is this the 2nd edit from the original ticket buyer? If this is the case - contact the original ticket buyer to make the changes. If you have no idea who that is - contact tickets@sdyoutopia.com and include the Order number.

If you are experiencing any issues, please contact 24/7 Eventbrite support at https://www.eventbrite.com/contact-us
