Description

The Community Cycling Education Program will be hosting a Youth Summer Cycling Skills Camp from July 10th to July 14th, 2017 from 9am-12pm. This bike camp will offer participants the opportunity to learn cycling basics, hone existing skills, and work towards group riding on trails and roadways. This camp is led by nationally certified CAN-BIKE instructors who will focus on teaching students the rules of the road and the importance of staying visible and predictable while riding and communicating with all road users.

Date: July 10th - 14th

Time: 9am - 12pm

Location: Lee Park, 800 Memorial Dr, North Bay, ON P1A 1T6

Cost: $90 per child

Ages: 10-12

Required Equipment:

  • bicycle in good working order, sized properly
  • approved helmet (CSA, Snell, or ASTM)
  • bicycle bell
  • weather appropriate clothing
  • closed toe shoes

Registration can also be completed at the Discovery Routes Trails Organization office at 205 Main Street East, North Bay.

If you prefer to pay in person, we accept cash and cheque (payable to Discovery Routes Trails Organization) at the office. All credit card payments must be completed through Eventbrite.

Please note: minimum registration is required - all registrants will be notified on or before July 3, 2017 if cancellation occurs.
