Description

The Youth Stop AIDS Speaker Tour's final stop is Glasgow!

This is our biggest annual event - a jam-packed month of talks where groundbreaking young activists from Kenya and the UK will tell their personal stories of living with HIV.

This year we are joined by a record six inspirational young speakers, each with their own unique perspective on what it's like to live with HIV. From a Kenyan activist who was kicked out his house and forced into sex-work, to an 18 year old vlogger overcoming health challenges & stigma to be a leading activist - the tour promises to give a platform to so many inspirational stories.

The statistics around HIV and AIDS are shocking. AIDS is a leading killer of young people, and marginalised groups like sex workers are 10 times more at risk of HIV compared to the general population.

But these figures do not tell the full story. There is nothing more powerful than hearing the life experiences of young people affected by HIV & AIDS to motivate you to take action. AIDS is no longer a death sentence and new HIV infections are easily preventable. But with serious political will and funding, we can beat AIDS for good.

Meet some of our amazing speakers here!

This will be our biggest Speaker Tour yet so don’t miss out - tell your friends & register for an event near you now.
