About This Event:

Celebrating 50 years, The Appalachian Mountain Club’s Youth Opportunities Program offers a training and support model ensuring that youth enjoy meaningful outdoor experiences with the adults who know them best. YOP provides outdoor leadership training, trip planning, and access to gear-lending libraries to urban youth workers and teachers across New York, New Jersey and New England. More than 200 youth agencies and over 37,000 youth participate in Youth Opportunities Programming with AMC.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

All are welcome, though only those over 21 years of age will be served alcohol.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

There are many enjoyable ways to get to The Loeb Boathouse. Simply walking from 72nd Street and Fifth Avenue, or 72nd and Central Park West, is always an option.

If your attire and your inclination are not fit for a stroll—the Boathouse Shuttle makes stops along upper Fifth Avenue. The shuttle can also stop at 80th Street and Fifth Avenue to meet or drop off guests who have parked at the 24-hour Metropolitan Museum parking garage.

No refunds are available for this event; ticket purchases and sponsorship help to support the AMC's Youth Opportunities Program.

You do not have to bring your printed ticket to the event; your name will be on our guest list at the door when you arrive.
