Youth Mental Health First Aid Training

Youth Mental Health First Aid is designed to teach adults how to help a youth who is experiencing a mental health challenge or is in crisis. It is more common for an individual to encounter someone in an emotional or mental crisis than someone experiencing a physical crisis. This course introduces common mental health challenges for youth, reviews typical adolescent development, and teaches a 5-step action plan for how to help young people in both crisis and non-crisis situations.In order to receive credit as a mental health first aider, you need to attend all 8 hours of the training.
