Youth Mental Health First Aid Training III

About this event

Youth Mental Health First Aid is a one-day virtual training program that introduces participants to the unique risk factors and warning signs of mental health problems in adolescents, builds an understanding of the importance of early intervention, and teaches individuals how to aid an adolescent in crisis or experiencing a mental health challenge.

The training will be hosted via Zoom by UGA's Dr. Diane Bales, Associate Professor and UGA Cooperative Extension Human Development Specialist, and Courtney Still Brown, UGA Cooperative Extension 4-H Specialist.

PRE-TRAINING MODULE REQUIREMENT: Please be aware that to participate in the training you will be required to complete a two-hour online learning module prior to October 15th. Further details related to the training and the pre-training module will be communicated via email after you acquire a ticket.
