Description

Chautauqua County Youth Matters Conference is a full day conference on December 15th, 2017 that provides training to Youth Serving Professionals. This conference is intended to provide professionals with additional skills to better serve the youth they work with, and gain further education surrounding current topics regarding youth.

Registration begins at 7:45am and Keynote Presentation begins at 8:00am.

Keynote (8:00am - 9:15am) - Chautauqua County Department of Mental Hygiene: Youth Mental Health First Aid Action Plan + Safe Messaging

Breakout Session 1 (9:30am - 10:30am) - (Please choose 1) Option 1 Shelly Wells: Yoga in the Classroom and Community, Option 2 Chautauqua Opportunties Inc.: Father + Youth Engagement

Breaktout Session 2 (10:45am - 11:45am) - (Please choose 1) Option 1 CASAC: Hidden in Plain Sight with large group activity, Option 2 Lisa McLaughlin: Affirmative Consent

Lunch on your own from 11:45am - 12:45pm

Breakout Session 3 (12:45pm - 1:45pm) - CAP: Working with Youth that Exhibit Problematic Sexual Behavior

Closing Panel (1:50pm - 3:20pm) - Less is More a panel disscussion to better serve in your role as a mandated reporter
