The YFH/CHSN Grad Nite Cloud of Color 2 Mile Fun Run is a non-competitive 1 mile run/walk with a twist. The twist with this run is the fun, as volunteers cover runners in multicolored powder made of corn starch.

WHAT IS A COLOR FUN RUN?

A color run is a fun run/walk fro people of all ages ( aprox. 2 miles) that brings fun, exercise and color together while raising money and awareness for a great cause. The only "requirement" is to wear WHITE!

HOW DOES IT WORK?

You start off clean at the starting line. This is not an officially timed race. You can walk, run, skip etc. through the course. Along the way there will be COLOR STATIONS where colored powder will be gently thrown on you. At the finish, YOU will be a colorful masterpiece! YES! It's all natural corn starch and food coloring and 100% biodegradable. It will wash off of you and out of your clothing but we recommend wearing old clothing.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

Participation is open to everyone regardless of age! Sorry, no pets allowed.

DO I NEED ANY SPECIAL PROTECTIVE GEAR?

You should wear sunglasses or goggles to protect your eyes. Some people chose to cover their mouths from inhaling the powder- a bandana works well.

DO I GET A T-SHIRT?

All participants will get a T-shirt ( while supplies last).

SHOULD I BRING A TOWEL?

Yes. To protect your car seats on the way home!

WHAT SHOULD I DO WITH MY VALUABLES DURING THE RACE?

We strongly suggest NOT bringing valuables with you. If you must, store them in a plastic ziplock for their protection. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items.

WHERE CAN I PARK?

There is plenty of parking available on site. Directions to the registration and Pre-Race starting areas will be marked.

CAN I PARTICIPATE WITHOUT RUNNING?

Absolutely! There are many way to get invloved such as volunteering, becoming a sponsor or simply donating to this great event!
