The Social Development Commission (SDC) is hosting the 2023 Youth Empowerment Summit. We are equipping the youth of Milwaukee County with the tools to break the cycles of poverty and trauma in their communities by empowering them as leaders and changemakers for their generation.
Through this year’s theme... My Brilliancy is My Resiliency, our youth will see how their resiliency during challenging times can be a catalyst for change in their lives. Youth will attend interactive workshops, empowering keynote speakers, and receive resources to help them on their path to a bright future.
Parents, youth workers, school teachers, and administrators are encouraged to attend, as special workshops will be provided for adults who work with and care for youth.
