Youth East Conference

Youth East Conference 2023 is our annual conference for 11 - 18 youth, hosted by SAINT. Following a week of Evangelistic mission into East London Schools, we will kick off the weekend on Friday night, 24th March, in Hackney Church (E5 0PD) with an incredible concert from OTC, where we can invite our school friends and mosh in our new merch. Then on Saturday 25th March in Homerton Church (E9 6RT), we will gather back together for a day of celebration, inspiration and equipping young people to live life with Jesus.

We're coming together as churches, youth groups and young people from across East London and beyond for the best weekend of our year.

As detailed above, the Conference will be held across two venues:

Hackney Church (E5 0PD) & Homerton Church (E9 6RT).

Friday 24th March, Hackney Church:

6:30 - Youth East Conference begins. Doors Open of Hackney Church

7:00 - OTC Concert

OTC & Guests will be performing in the renowned church and concert venue: Hackney Church. Haze, lights, huge sound, the works. This concert will have it all. Invite your friends from school as during the concert there will be a message about the Christian faith.

8:30 - DJ / Drinks / Merch Stand

Hang out after with your mates and get yourself some Youth East merch.

9:00 - End

Head home (or a mates house) for a good nights sleep. You're gonna need all your energy for day 2!

Saturday 25th March, Homerton Church:

9:30 - Doors Open

10:00 - Session 1

This morning you will be assigned to your Squad and have tons of fun. We'll also worship together with SAINT Music, hear an amazing message and have time to respond.

12:30 - Lunch (packed lunch or local amenities)

Take this opportunity as a youth group to explore Hackney and get some lunch! There are tons of shops and restaurants around. Sainsbury's, McDonalds, KFC, or even Ramen from Tonkotsu if you're feeling fancy.

2:00 - SQUAD GAMES

We can't wait for you to join Squad Games this weekend. After lunch we will be battling it out in competitions, games, assault courses and faceoffs to win our Squad points in the battle to win our Squad the Youth East Conference Squad Games trophy! Think face paint, flags, chants, huge inflatables and no energy left.

3:30 - Drinks break (provided by us) & move to breakout venue

Take a moment to get a drink and a rest and make your way to the breakout venues.

4:00 - Breakouts

Lots of oppourtunities to hear from different speakers on a number of different topics. You're gonna learn something NEW and be inspired.

5:00 - Dinner

Make your way back into Hackney with your youth group to your fave restaurant. Make sure you bring some money with you to cover the cost. These might be some of the most memorable moments of conference as you enjoy good chats with mates over your fave food.

6:30 - Doors open / Preshow

Doors open at Homerton Church ahead of our seciond and final session! Come early to get yourself a good seat.

7:00 - Session 2

The Squad Games finale, more amazing worship and a powerful message to finish off our time at Youth East Conference. Come ready and expectant for God to move in your life.

9:00 - Silent Disco

No better way to close off Youth East Conference than with a Silent Disco Party! Grab your headset and cut your shapes!

10:00 - Close

:( It's time to head home. But all that energy and passion you have, take it back to your local church and share your stories! What happens at conference, doesn't stay at conference. We'll see you next year!!!

*Terms and Conditions

- You will need to come with a youth leader/adult who will be responsible for you for the day.

- All youth leaders / guardians who attend Youth East Conference with young people or youth group are required to purchase a ticket also.

-Lunch & Dinner are not provided, but do not fear; M&S, TESCOS and McDonalds are in the neighbourhood nearby.

-There will be photographs and videos being taken which will be used for Youth East videos/images for publicity purposes -we will not be selling/passing on the photographs to third parties. By signing up to this event you will be agreeing to the use of your photographs/videos being used. If this is an issue/concern, please get in touch.

- Youth East Conference is running this event for young people so will not be able to claim responsibility for looking after young people attending, other than safeguarding and safety measures within and surrounding the building itself. If someone is under 18 they will need to come with a youth leader/adult.
