Description

Come get your hands dirty as you create your personal masterpieces with clay! Youth Ceramics meets from 4:30-6 pm on Thursdays at ARTspace Annex, 217 Fifth St. in downtown Hollister and is taught by professional teaching artist, Christina Morris. Students will shape and sculpt objects with their hands and explore surface decorations by pressing objects into slabs of smooth clay. In the beginning of each day Christina will introduce a new technique to explore 3 dimensional ideas. Students will be exposed to a variety of ceramic techniques and have the opportunity to explore self-expression.

Materials provided: All necessary materials will be provided. Just bring some clothes to get dirty in and come ready to be creative, and have fun.

Your $55 monthly registration fee includes classes for one month and all of the materials. $10 sibling discount available!
