Students will explore Acting techniques through various texts from African-American Authors.
About this Event
Through the lens of poetry and speeches from the African
Diaspora, learn how to use your voice, body and the power of
language to tell stories that transform an audience. Audrey Lorde,
Martin Luther King Jr., Toni Morrison and Nelson Mandela are just
a few of the “language giants” we will explore. Once a week, join
professional actor Lisa Arrindell, in this class for blooming artists
(ages 9-18) via zoom, interested in a career on stage.
