Youth & Action: towards a new generation for peace - act II

YOUTH IN ACTION: TOWARDS A NEW GENERATION FOR PEACE – act II is a peace seminar for 85 youth aged from 13 to 18 years coming from different countries in Scandinavia (Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway).

Through workshops from partner organizations like Play for Peace (US), Nansen Peace center (NO), Crossing Borders (DK) and speeches delivered by charismatic people working in the field, for example Marco Elsafadi (Lebanon-Norway) and Garba Diallo (Mauritania-DK) through games and non-formal learning activities, through sports and outdoor activities, our objective is to give youth a unique chance and experience to meet, talk, understand, engage and become an active citizen and peace builder of this world.

FAQs

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

You must be aged 13 to 18 years but we might be able to make some exceptions. You should send us your request in due time.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

We are trying to secure the funds to help the Danish, Swedish, Finnish participants (and Norwegians coming from other places) wishing to attend. You should send us a mail well in advance with a specific request, with a proposal. No travel will be refunded without prior agreement by the organizer (barnasfredsverden).

What can/can't I bring to the event?

Towels and sheets will be provided. you can bring your own personal belongings for 3 days. even if it is summer you should be aware that it might rain. bring confortable shoes and all you need to be in the sun as well. outdoor activities are scheduled.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

Yes. But you need to take care of it. and send us the proof.
