Learn communication techniques that encourage compliance with your directions, without having to raise your voice or use punishment.  Create an atmosphere in your family that allows everyone to express their feelings, yet maintains your parental role as the adult in charge. 


Sue Garber, M.A.

Sue is a Parent Coaching Institute (PCI) Certified Parent Coach® and a Certified Positive Discipline Educator. She has experience working with parents of children who have experienced difficulty making or keeping friends, expressing anger appropriately, controlling their impulsive behavior in school and following adult directions. Sue helps parents understand their child’s behavior and then develop strategies to address parenting concerns.

The Morrissey-Compton Educational Center, Inc. is a nonprofit, private corporation founded in 1982 by Dr. Patricia Morrissey and Dr. Carolyn Compton. Dr. John Brentar is the Executive Director. The agency provides both diagnostic and treatment services for children and adults with learning disabilities, as well as professional consultation to agencies and community organizations.

It is the mission of Morrissey-Compton Educational Center to enable children and adults with learning disabilities and other school-related difficulties to achieve their goals by providing the highest quality diagnostic and intervention services in a supportive environment.
