Wednesday, March 25, 2020, 4:30-6 p.m.

Please join the Division of Biological Sciences as we celebrate our 60th anniversary in 2020. Our new “A Deep Look into the Future of Biology,” series will be moderated by Dean Kit Pogliano in Tata Hall’s Kavli Auditorium and live streamed for those who cannot attend in person. The format for each event will be four short, impactful presentations followed by a panel discussion.

This event is free and open to the public. Complimentary parking will be available near Tata Hall at 4pm. Event will start promptly at 4:30pm. A post-event reception with light refreshments will follow. Further details will be emailed to attendees as the event nears.

Speakers to include Ashley Juavinett ’16, Takaki Komiyama, Cressida Madigan and Natasha Slepak,

New discoveries in neuroscience are offering unprecedented views of the brain and its critical functions. Leveraging new avenues for discovery, such as data-intensive methods and novel laboratory approaches, neuroscientists are revealing how brain activity relates to specific functions and identifying novel treatments to the most challenging neurologically related diseases.
