Your Best Run with Milly

Join Milly Wade-West on a quest to build a stronger runner in you! She will be hosting series of group led workouts from sound RUNNER's Fairfield location. If you are training for a fall marathon, want to improve your run performance or are interested improving your running education; these clinics are for you.
Clinic Fees: $20 per session or $180 for all 8.
Who is Milly?
Milly is an avid runner and endurance athlete. As a teenager she struggled with ADHD. She overcame this after suffering a heart arrhythmia from medication, by changing her diet and running before school. This change empowered her to help others to see how a healthy lifestyle can impact your quality of life.
Milly is a running and strength coach living in Southern Connecticut. She is currently training to run 7 marathons on 7 continents and for the Florida Ironman on behalf on the X2 performance triathlon team.

Strength Training for Runners - This clinic will be focused on building a strong foundation for training and staying injury-free!
Sunday, April 2nd
Field Lactate Threshold Testing - Milly will conduct a lactate threshold test for participants. The goal will be to have individual heart rate training zones set up. Having individualized training zones will make sure you are training in the right zone at the right time of year. Personal zones will be created based on your heart rate and pace.
Saturday, May 6th
Run Skills and Drills - Learn the skills and drills that will keep you fit and help you run stronger longer! Perform these drills two times a week for 30 minutes and you will be running like a Kenyan in no time!
Saturday, June 10th
Hill Bounding - Learn how to become a stronger, better runner by incorporating hills into your running routine!
Sunday, July 9th
Hill Repeats - Become a better stronger runner when you attack the hills!
Sunday, August 10th
Fartlek Clinic - A staple workout to incorporate into your running regimen. Fartlek is the swedish word for speedplay. Learn how to use this effectively!
Saturday, September 9th
Short Repeats at the Track - Work on your speed, no matter what distance you like, and become a stronger, faster, runner! Option for a run analysis at the store post workout.
Sunday, October 15th
Long Repeats at the Track - Long repeats at the track to help improve your speed no matter what distance!
