You are invited to join NCWIT & Bloomberg for a special afternoon reception just for technical young women at the NYC FIRST Robotics Regional Competition! The event is hosted by the National Center for Women & ITAspirations in Computing Program, and all young women and their mentors and coaches are invited to join.
This is your opportunity to network with lots of other young women in techology, including those in college and working professionals, and learn about opportunities, internships and scholarships available through the NCWIT Aspirations in Computing Program. You've worked hard to get here, so take a break on us. There will be food, music, networking opportunities and door prizes!
All FTC and FRC young women and their coaches and mentors, as well as Aspirations in Computing award recipients from the area are invited.
VIP Girl Dinner with Developers 5:00-8:00 PM
After the reception, hop into the NCWIT party limo and be whisked away to Bloomberg headquarters for a tour, dinner, and networking with Bloomberg engineers. The event is girls only, but to attend this portion you must be 18+ otherwise you may be accompanied by a parent. No exceptions! Return transportation will be provided after dinner to Grand Central, Penn Station, Port Authority and the Javitz Center.
