Young Adult Cancer Support Meet-Up
Sun, March 26, 2017, 9:00 AM – 10:00 PM CDT
Are you a young adult, 18-40, who has been affected by cancer? It is not necessarily the club that you want to be a part of, but the good news is, that you are not alone! It is never something we plan for and is why these meetings are so helpful in the process. The Psychosocial aspect for young adults along with their family and friends, is something that is not addressed as much as it should be. That is what we plan to address during our meet-up. What difficulties as a young adult have you experienced or faced? How did you pull through these times? We would also like to know what type of coping skills caregivers, family, and friends had during these times as well. Please join us for a small gathering where you can share your experiences and have others to relate with. We will also have a couple topic questions planned to discuss as well. If this is something that you are interested in, please e-mail at the address listed below, or register with a free ticket below. This ensures that you have a spot for the meet-up. Patients, survivors, caregivers, friends, and family are all welcome to join. If you put your name on a ticket, please make sure that you will be able to come. These tickets are to RSVP only. If you think you may or may not be able to come (we all know things come up unexpectedly), wait until a couple days before the event to sign up. Thank you so much in advance and I hope to see you there.
