Event Details

Join us at Epic Yoga, a beautiful new yoga studio in Dupont Circle, for a special afternoon film screening of PLANEAT, the story of three men’s search for a diet, which is good for our health, good for the environment and good for the future of the planet.

Donations collected at the event will benefit A Well-Fed World, a D.C.-based hunger relief and animal protection organization.

Watch the film with us and enjoy complimentary vegan drumsticks from Java Green and a special discount to food and drink from Yola, the first and only fresh yogurt parfait bar in the city, committed to serving wholesome products using sustainable business practices that are good for farmers, the guests and the environment.

Our pop-up theater is made possible thanks to our friends at the documentary production company Meridian Hill Pictures

Benevolent Media

Benevolent Media is a media and events company dedicated to celebrating storytelling and design for good.

We do this in three ways:

  1. Solutions-based editorial content on our website;
  2. Monthly community events, hosted in partnership with cause-oriented groups; and,
  3. An annual festival, convening mediamakers and changemakers to share best practices, case studies and special projects.

We focus on people, organizations and projects that compel audiences to care about a cause, take action on an issue, or promote a point of view through strategic and inspiring multimedia.
