This course is designed for people who are struggling with their relationship with food. You may know what you 'should' eat and have maybe tried numerous diets, but for some reason, you struggle to do this or stick to it. Often there are underlying reasons people have this struggle; eating due to feeling difficult emotions, eating when bored, feeling unworthy of their 'ideal' body and the attention this may bring, or viewing food as a reward that is deserved.
This course will discuss the different reasons we can struggle with our relationship with food and will help you identify your reason/s. We will then work through some ways to make changes and introduce techniques you can use to help. This course is meant as an introduction to this topic and you will leave with materials that you can continue to use at home.
This course is open to all adults over the age of 16. You will not be put under pressure to speak infront of the group or contribute- although this is welcome if you want to.
