About this event
This seminar will provide an update of the current tree health situation in Yorkshire with expert speakers from the Forestry Commission and The Food and Environment Research Agency (FERA).
Morning Session - 10.00 -12.00
Presentations will include
- Ready to Plant assessments
- Plant Healthy in the biosecurity procurement process for trees
- Biosecurity; current Forestry Commission grants available
- Statutory Plant Health Notices (what landowners need to know)
- An update from the North York Moors National Park
12.00 – 13.00 Lunch - Provided (Please advise of dietary requirements)
Afternoon Session - 13.00 – 15.00
Site Visit hosted by Forestry England
The visit will look at the forest management of tree health within Dalby Forest. Please note the site visit will be outdoors and on foot. Suitable outdoor clothing and clean footwear should be worn. Biosecurity measures will be provided.
