York Pride Fest - 2017 Community Fair Registration

The York Pride Fest Community Fair, on the day of the 2017 York Region Pride Parade, provides an excellent opportunity to showcase your local LGBT welcoming business or community organization.
Our Community Fair, live entertainment and a variety of family-friendly activities will be located at Riverwalk Commons, just a few metres away from the end point of the Pride Parade. We will also be adjacent to the Newmarket Farmer's Market. And, just across the road on the south side of Water St, Fairy Lake park will be home to the 20th Annual Artisan's Festival. In addition to Pride Festival attendees we anticipate that many others will visit our Community Fair as they stroll between all of these concurrent attractions.
Each Community Fair participant will be reserved a booth space of at least 10ftx10ft, unless alternative arrangements are requested.
PLEASE NOTE: Participants will need to bring their own table and chair(s). It is also recommended to bring a small tent/canopy for protection against the sun or other weather conditions. Regrettably we are unable to provide connections to an electricity supply.
All participating vendors and community organizations must pre-register by purchasing a permit of the appropriate type, in order to take part in our Community Fair.
The event commences at 7am on Saturday 17th June and the facility will open for setup at 6am. Although you can setup your booth at any time, we strongly recommend early arrival as vehicular access and parking in close proximity to Riverwalk Commons will become increasingly challenging after the Farmer's Market opens at 7am.
We expect that the number of attendees will start to diminish in the afternoon after the Farmer's Market has closed at 1pm, but you are free to leave at that time or to stay until later in the afternoon for as long as your booth continues to receive a significant number of visitors.
