Event description

Description

Please join us to observe Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement.

All are welcome! Jewish Gateways High Holiday services are engaging, inclusive, and use both English and Hebrew. We meet outdoors beneath an open tent at the Jewish Community Center in Berkeley.

The services are led by Rabbi Bridget Wynne with warmth, creativity, and honesty ... and Cantorial Soloist Angela Gold, with her beautiful voice and love of enabling people to connect through music.

No tickets or membership are required.

The services are supported entirely by donations from individuals who attend.

Therefore, we request a minimum donation of $50 per adult for each evening or day on which you'll join us. You may contribute when you register on this website, or at the services.

We know that some cannot give this amount, while others can give more. Please consider making as generous a gift as you can. All donations are tax deductible.

We also offer Rosh Hashanah services on the evening of Wednesday, Sept. 20 and the day of Thursday, Sept. 21.

Click here to learn more about what the services are like, and here for more info about Jewish Gateways.

We look forward to welcoming you, your family, and your friends!
