Description

YOL Redwood City - July 25, 2018

Join YOL for an amazing day of mindfulness, volunteering, connection and more at Redwood City Police Athletic League (PAL) on Wednesday, July 25, 2018.

This special discounted program is designed to showcase YOL’s unique mindful service and wellness programming while offering you and your colleagues a unique opportunity to shed stress, have fun and give back to an incredible organization.

We’ll meet at 9am at PAL for our Opening Circle and Primer on Mindful Service to learn about YOL’s unique approach to service and get oriented to the day ahead.

Then, we will help to build out PAL’s classroom and library spaces for youth of all ages (Participants are invited to bring new or gently used books to donate to the PAL youth). We will break from our service engagement to enjoy a delicious, organic lunch and then connect with youth in their summer camp programming to play games, garden, do art and read books.

Along the way we’ll also hear from Redwood City PAL’s Executive Director, Ivan Martinez, about the importance of community involvement for at-risk youth and the specialized programs that PAL has to offer.

Don’t miss this powerful experience! The cost to attend is just $98/person and your fee also includes a small donation to Redwood City PAL. Have friends or co-workers who would be interested in joining as well? Register three of your people, and the fourth person will attend for free!
